As you may have noticed, news are sporadic lately. This does not mean the project is dead, not at all. The opposite, really. In case you have, dear reader, are unaware, I (Dark) have learned how to do 3D meshes on my own, which has lead to a complete overhaul of the content we had. This includes better / more fitting models as well as optimization for a better performance. However, such things take time.
And time is not on my side, sadly. Real life, as you likely know yourself all too well, has the tendency to interfere with what you do for fun. Work must always come first, and a new job is planned for me in 2025, thus the amount of time I can pump into Neverwitcher is more limited than before.
But it is not all bad news. Let me tell you what is in store for the near future.
The next scheduled event, which was planned as winter 2024/2025 event, is called “A winter in Hawkesburn”. This will be both a testing event as well as have full roleplay continuity, and will feature a lot of the new content I handcrafted for Neverwitcher (about 100+ models already)
Due to my time being eaten away by various factors I cannot offer a date / screenshots for this planned event yet, but it will be done as soon as possible.
For now, the team and I wish you all the best for Christmas / the holidays and the coming New Years Eve. Perhaps we can manage to get some content out before then, but no promises. Life tends to be cruel to those that hand out dates too easily.
