he Witcher Online: The Neverwitcher Nights Project aims to bring the world seen through the eyes of Geralt of Rivia to life. Set 50 years before the events of The Last Wish, the world is familiar but yet not quite the same. Witchers are a dying breed, but still more numerous; the Nilfgaardian wars are still to come; Cintra has not fallen and prospers still. A world ripe with opportunity, but also of treachery, monsters, and unexpected sights.

Using the game Neverwinter Nights II as basis, our team brings the world envisioned by Andrzej Sapkowski to life. The fundamentals of the game itself changed into something new and refreshing, the engine pushed to its limitations to create stunning and beautiful landscapes, a full re-design of almost all UI elements - a completely new sense of immersion awaits.

Your character, your story

he Witcher Online (TWO in short) encourages its players to create their perfect character, or characters, and become part of the world and immerse themselves in it. Different professions, similar to classes in D&D, allow you to solve matters in their own unique ways: rally as peaseants to drive bandits and other oppressors from your land; use your silver tongue to influence people as a cunning bard; use blackmail and trickery as rogue to fill your coinpurse; employ the magic born from chaos itself to influence, or kill, enemies or just slay them outright as a well-trianed man-at-arms. For monsters, of course, there are the Witchers - though those blessed with superhuman capabilties have to endure consequences beyond the physical. These options, and many more, are at your disposal. A world to explore

Explore a land of mystery and create your own unique tale a little at a time, each day. Meet others, like yourself, and explore the mossy green lands of Aedirn, the wild and beautiful lands of Lyria & Rivia, and venture into the snow covered lands of Mahakam where the dwarves make their home.

Mahakam

Mahakam is the homeland of the dwarves, known for its mountains, cold weather and high quality iron. Mahakam is planned as an end-game location for players.

Toussaint

Known as the land of fairytales, Toussaint is a beautiful lush land which can be seen in the tutorial scenario for people hailing from there.

Kaer Morhen

One of the Witcher schools, situated in a valley called Haerch. Witchers can visited Kaer Morhen during their tutorial section.

Skellige

Skellige is an island chain that is home to fierce warriors, raiding ships of the northern kingdoms with their longboats. Part of Skellige, Holmstein, can be visited during the Skelliger tutorial.

Angren

Angren lies south of Rivia, a swampy and monster infested region which is known for its wood. They say everything slowly rots in Angren, from manmade structures to its people.
Travel to locations known from the books, such as Rivia, Aldersburg, Mount Carbon, Kaer Morhen, Novigrad, and many more. Traverse the lands between these realms with the help of our overland map, which generates encounters, secrets and quests at random and harbors hidden locations. Learn more.

Multilingual

The Witcher Online is the only NWN2 persistent world project that dares to bring people of two different languages together, as well as support them. German players and english speaking players can both visit our game world and see all texts (aside what players say) in their native language. One of the regions, either Aedirn or Rivia, will become the starting point for each of them - with players able to travel freely between them. Learn more.

More than just fighting monsters

W
hile most will think of killing monsters when they think of The World of the Witcher, there are many more possibilities. The Witcher Online is a roleplaying server first, thus, you get rewarded for interacting with other players or with game master controlled NPCs. Fighting monsters, crafting, exploring, housing, trading, diplomatic battles, fishing, cooking, gathering plants, pitching a camp in the wilderness and gather lore of the world - these are part of the activities you can partake in.

Of course, nothing beats having a stiff drink with your buddies in the tavern. Even more so if you can get some gambling going, be it dice poker or cards. Grab a pipe, fill yer mug, and celebrate what being alive means before going back to your bread and butter.

An ever expanding world

ur project will continue to expand as long as interest remains. The regions we have chosen offer plenty of places to add to our world, as well as neighboring realms which can be added to the game world. New professions, skills, items and such are also within realm of the possible.
As long as you remain invested and loyal towards our project, our project shall endure.
