Merchants are the lifeblood of any society. They buy, sell, procure, travel or run local stores. Some of them produce as well, but it is not a requirement by any means. More... (Witcher RPG Wiki, english only)
Defining Trait: Well Traveled
Your average merchant makes a living from trade and that trade brings in customers from all around. But a traveling merchant goes to their customers, wandering the roads of the world, and learning from it’s people. A Merchant can make a Well Traveled roll anytime they want to know a fact about a specific item, culture, or area. If the roll is successful the Merchant remembers the answer to that question, calling on memories of the last time they travelled through the applicable area.- Base HP: 10 + d10.
- Base Stamina: 30.
- Base Recovery: 4.
- Vigor: 0.
- Magical Perks: None.
- Weapons & Armor: All simple weapons, light armor.
- Skills: Presence, Small Blades, Education, Language (2), Streetwise, Business, Persuasion, Human Perception, Gambling, Resist Coercion.
- Starting Gear (You get any 5): Writing kit, Merchant's tools, Large tent, Crossbow & bolts (20), Iron Dagger, Satchel, Bound Journal (Guaranteed).
